Worst hospital I have ever heard of in my life. My sister was in a severe single car accident in North Arkansas and had to be flown by helicopter to this hospital hours away. She suffered a severe head injury and had to have her head stapled closed on the way. She had a hole in her arm and was scraped and bruised all over her entire body. When she got there they drug tested her since it was a car accident which is normal. However because they found pot in her system they treated her like a 2nd class citizen. She had a brain injury and wasn't in her right state of mind so she was combative. The nurses threatened to send her to the "mental" wing of the hospital and to have her charged if she kicked them. They strapped her NAKED to a bed exposed to anyone who walked by laying in her period blood and feces. I live out of state I drove up there thinking I'd visit her in the hospital but they DISCHARGED her after a few days while she was not in the right state of mind and with the open wound on her arm not stitched up and no pain medications whatsoever. I saw her discharge papers and they were totally unreadable. Like they ran out of ink and gave them to her anyway. I feel like she was totally disrespected just because she had pot in her system so they didnt give her the best care. She was in such bad shape she still needed to be in the hospital. She has no recollection of the accident, the stay at the hospital, or even seeing me after she got out and is horrified when she hears about how she was treated. Totally unacceptable, nobody should be treated this way period no matter what is in their system. EVERYONE deserves to be treated with dignity and respect in an emergency such as this. I'm just disgusted.
