Went here to buy a very generic beauty product and they had a very small selection of what I wanted. I chose the only product they stocked that matched what I was looking for  and afterwards I consulted the beauticians about a tinted moisturizer. The stuff I bought (that was recommended) was really overpriced, and the sample I had on my face felt oily after a while. The entire time I felt like the staff was watching me like they thought I was going to steal something and it made me feel really uncomfortable. I returned the makeup I bought the next day.

It's Ulta, what more can I say. It's like Sephora but better because it's more affordable and they have better rewards and sales. The store was clean, employees were helpful. Only complaint is they need to monitor testers because people open products when testers are gone.

I've given it a 2 star because I was able to get what I've been longing for since it'll be awhile til I'm able too again. I'm from Alberta, Canada and this is the 2nd time we've been to Seattle. I told the cashier I'm from Alberta (because when you're from Alberta, Washington is one of the states that accepts tax exemptions) she asks another cashier about that and explained to her what to do. My cashier looks at her computer and says no we don't have that option so we don't do it unfortunately. I thought that was strange because I was able to do it before. Long story short, called other stores and they said they're all able to in their stores and that this location should be able to. Called back at this location spoke to the manager and explained to her the situation and she wasn't helpful, says I should just call customer service since I've already made the transaction there's nothing they can do on their end. Now im stuck with having to go through all this trouble when it should have been taken care of to begin with. Bellevue Marketplace at Factoria will be my go to next time since they seemed to be so much more friendlier there.

I received exceptional service at the Tukwila Ulta today.
Cassandra, the butter london associate was great so was another associate whose name I do not remember.
I do not take good service for granted so thank you,keep it up and God bless you.

This store is taking a dump! My last 2 visits went from mediocre to full on bad. My last visit, I actually was so frustrated with the lack of customer service that after going back to get a like product with a sku # on it, I ended up walking out of the store. Not once during my 20 minutes proceeding my experience with the one girl working the cash register did anybody greet me, ask if I needed any help, or even as much as smile at me. There were no less than 6 people "working", but none of them could be bothered to even help when there was a growing line trying to get out of the store. I'm not sure that I'll be back to this store ever, but for now, I've just placed my order online.
