Really nice staff, but their online banking and mobile app both need some work.

I had gone to get some docs notarized - was told that they do it free for all Amazon employees. Was told by the lady at the reception that per bank policy, they can only stamp on original docs!!! Did not get a satisfactory answer when asked the difference between a Notarized document and a stamped original . Never going back.

We left our big-name bank to get personal attention and service... and John Chambers and Umpqua Bank have delivered!  We are thrilled to have a great relationship with our bank - and their hands-on approach to taking care of our needs is fantastic.  I would reccomend John and Umpqua to anyone.

It's been a complete pleasure working with the Umpqua branch at South Lake Union. From the beginning, the staff has been courteous and helpful. The manager, John Chambers, has been especially responsive and professional. John has made our banking experience personable, and his financial experience is invaluable. I would recommend to any business owner to work with John and his South Lake Union branch if they are looking for a dedicated, caring, and honest banking experience.
