I wait in the Christmas rush line with only 2 registrar's open. Then when I get to the counter and have one package scanned the computer breaks down. They made me wait over 30 minutes at the counter to watch them switch out the monitor because they have already rung up s few items. Instead of the manager voiding my transaction out and moving me to another register I had to stand and watch 40 other people get assisted. And to top it off the two ladies you had working get bad mouthing each other and pointing fingers as to who "broke the computer and I'm not calling tech assistance". Instead of bad mouthing her co-worker she could've helped me out. I have always had a good experience at this location, but from now on will not go back.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Went in at the end of the day, today to send out my husband's care packages. 1 from my mom and little siblings and one from myself and the little ones. The lady at the front desk told my mom that she was too late and wouldn't ship her package. She called me up, pretty much saying "hurry up" I walk up with both mine and my mom's package. She said to me "I'm not sending that one" point to my mom's package. Went on to tell her "this is for my deployed husband" she had the audacity to tell me "Too bad, I'm not sending it." WHO SAYS THAT?!

The post office itself is okay, but the mail delivery part of this post office is terrible! I've ordered things online and if they are shipped via USPS. Then they will likely get shoved into the mailbox, sometimes ruining the item(s)!! I've tried to talk with the post office delivery man, but he just says okay I'll try to do better, but does nothing! I wish they would train their employees to put a piece of mail that says "DO NOT BEND" on your front door step!!!

Everytime I go inside I have a great experience. The employees are always professional & nice. Service with a smile.

We requested to have our mail held from January 5, 2017 thru January 17, 2017 and re-delivered.  In the past eight years of living in Mechanicsville, this request was, for the most part, adhered to.  But, in the last 3 years, the lack of efficiency and daily mail delivery has diminished.  When we returned home on Sunday, January 16, 2017, there was mail and a package in our box.  Because, Monday, January 17, 2017 was a Federal holiday, we expected our held mail to be delivered on January 18, 2017.  IT WAS NOT!  It was delivered some time on Wednesday, January 19, 2017.  I left a note in the mailbox for the carrier.  It, too, was left on top of all the JAMMED mail the carrier could stuff in.  We DO NOT get our mail daily anymore and never know what time of day it will be there.  We have even gone to the branch to speak with the supervisor, SHALISA SMITH, but with NO success.  More people need to be hired and fire the ones that DO NOT know how to do their jobs!  WE, ALSO, ARE GETTING MAIL THAT DOES NOT BELONG TO US.  IT HAS THE NUMERIC NUMBERS OF THE STREET, BUT THE WRONG STREET, NOT EVEN IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD??
