Mail carrier for my neighborhood is an idiot. He rufuses to deliver my mail because he hears my dog doing its job and barking INSIDE MY HOUSE!!!! His boss said my pkgs and mail were at the PO. when I went to get them, there was nothing there. The carrier had taken them with no intention of delivering them!!! I know, for a FACT, that I have 2 pkgs that are overdue. 1 of the pkgs are medical supplies that I desperately need. But clearly, this PO doesn't give a sh**!!! I've been trying to call them all day but apparently no one there knows how to answer a phone either.

The mail man that delivers to my house is the worst. I just found out that he has been delivering my mail to the block behind mine, does he not know how to read. Apparently these mail men and woman have to go through a very tough test in order to get this job that pays so well but, can't even deliver mail to the correct address. Someone needs to do some retraining. I had a package that never reached my house, and apparently it was in the house one block behind mine. Turns out they didn't have the package either and all the post office said was, your package must have been lost. Lost! Lost! well look for it but, no they don't care, I bet you they would care if it was their package that was lost. IDIOTS! Thanks a lot that's $50 down the drain.

Every time I go to Freedom station the clerk(s) are always friendly and usually helpful, but MAN are they slower than molasses. The line is always long and sometimes there's no hustle it seems like. I used to supervise an unofficial postal store and my clerks moved much quicker than these clerks. I had bought some postcard stamps a few months ago and had one left. Currently they're 34 cents, and the first class letter rate is 47 cents, so I needed 13 cents additional postage. I wasn't ready to ship my letter so I stopped by so I could buy some extra stamps (13 cents worth) to send it at my convenience. The clerk, after looking at me confusingly, says, "why don't you just bring your letter up here so I can just put a meter strip on it, I don't want to have to get out all those stamps and then you might lose them." I just said, "ok..." and left. Yeah because "all those stamps" would consist of a 10 cent stamp and a 3 cent stamp, woo that's quite a few! I mean she couldn't have sounded more lazy. I am a paying customer and you essentially shoo me out the door, so I took my business elsewhere. If all postal employees move this slow, have that attitude, and don't give what you're asking for, no wonder the post office continues to lose more and more money.

This is the best post office in a comparison between Freedom (this one), Gary (Monterey) and Singer (at the Loop). It's funny that all three post offices show a 3 star rating on their walls but the service and attitudes are clearly different. I drive from the Monterey Highschool area to go to this post office because I was sick of going to Gary for 2 1/2 years with their long lines and uninformed staff. This is the most friendly and helpful staff you're going to get out of the 3. They clearly have good management because every clerk is happy to be there. They get you through the line quickly and if they don't know the answer to your shipping question, they will try to help instead of treat you like a postage criminal like the other two stations. Look, I run a business here. I am on a limited time schedule. My customer reviews are based on the post office getting packages to their destinations in the time I promise, in one piece. It is also the closest to the Depot District because the one in the Depot District zip code only has po boxes, no clerks.

I called to find a package that showed as undeliverable when tracked. The person was professional, polite, and found the package, which was delivered the next day.
