Extreme kudos and appreciation to Joseph at the Coronado Post Office in Santa Fe and Tom Gentner, the postal agent who remedied the repair, for exceptional customer service beyond expectation. My mailbox was vandalized a month before Christmas, and I had little hope of getting this remedied before year end. However, the effort of these two gentlemen expedited the vandalized post office box lock in front of my residence, so that I am able to access my mail once again. Joseph, thank you for managing the repair, arranging that the box be fixed within a day following my call to you (and my third contact with this post office regarding the incident.). And your follow-up call informing me when to expect the maintenance visit was a delightful surprise. You have both exceeded my expectation of the Federal Postal Service and deserve a special thanks during this busy time of year. Merry Christmas!

I have always give a round of applause to the mail people because they work during holydays, but one thing I don't appreciate from any place is the attitude they give when you ask a simple question. I was expecting 2 packages; same store, same date, just in two different packages. One I got, but the other one didn't. I waited all last night because it said it would be delivered and didn't. I checked this morning and nothing. I called this USPS and after my 5th attempt the lady answered. I greeted her, and I told her my situation and she put me on hold. Then she answered again and asked for tracking number, and she simply said we haven't gotten the package here when we get it it will be delivered. Her tone of voice was like "Stop calling once we get it it will be deliver when we want." I asked her for her name and replied "Margarette and I'm the supervisor". And I said "As a supervisor you shouldn't speak rude to customers, I know you're just doing your job but I have not disrespected you in any way." She then interrupted me saying she had to answer the phone I didn't want to wait I knew she was going to keep me on hold until I got tired. Honestly, I do appreciate the mail people and all others that work on holidays for us to celebrate when they can't. But customer service should not be am issue when assisting other. I can wait for the package, but I can not stand rude people.

3rd package lost by USPS in a year. Yesterday tracking info showed "delivered @ mailbox", and I was home about 15 minutes after the delivery time. I checked the mail, not there, walked to all my neighbors' in the immediate area to ask if they'd received anything, nobody had it, I called, and yet again I (like many reviewers here) get a speech about how nothing can be verified that the package wasn't delivered and I can file a claim if the package hasn't arrived in 7 days. So far the tally is at about $210 in missing items which is just... not cool. Next day Update: Mail man arrives with my package, I asked why it showed delivered yesterday, claimed he forgot to deliver it but mared it as such to save trouble with management? Great. 12/13/17 Update: Same situation but for my mother, parts she ordered were shown as delivered and they absolutely were not. In the midst of a claim after 1 week of her package not arriving, she never received a call back from the woman who agreed to help her from the USPS office in town. She called twice more and was finally told by a separate person that they can do nothing because the package was labeled as 'Delivered'. Just garbage.

10 people in line at 1115 am - one person on the window. Second week, no first class mailing boxes or first-class mailers. The absolute worst post office I have ever [tried] to use!!!!

I guess one star is the lowest you can go. I'll just make sure I never use your service for buisness orders again. I been set back on work because your service cant get off their behinds and deliver to my office which is 5 miles away!! The first two times they came, they left a note at the WRONG location and then there was the ignorant excuses of not knowing where it was to be picked! I couldve had my phone 3 days ago setting me back even more on work. Then your lousy offices dont answer calls DURING HOURS ever!! I called so many times its sad and a waste. I hope your happy with your reviews because you're going no where and I'm glad you enjoy making your employees with probably family of their own look like terrible people! That must make them feel good going home.... Thanks crooks!
