I shipped a package to another country on 4/13/18. I received the notification on 4/26 that my package has not been shipped out and came back to the post office. The small bottle( I wrapped with the towel and the cushioned around) was broken and syrup was leaking. the manager of the Post Office who was very rude in manner saying that I have to pay to re-send the package again because I did not pack the package right - He even did not take a loot at the package. The truth is that the package stopped at LA Airport and had never left from LA(I paid international fee for the package).

After reading the reviews about the customer service and carrier issues I don't feel alone. I have NEVER had such issues with my mail. I had been questioning where my mail was going since April 9th, 2018. I hadn't received mail since March 30th. I was told by a supervisor named Imer that he would call me after he would ask my carrier what the problem was with my missing mail. He never called me back. I submitted complaints online through USPS to get someone to talk to me and tell me where my mail was going and nothing. Daily, I get a email with screenshots of what I will be getting in the mail that day. Every day that I didn't receive my mail I marked " didn't receive mail piece" apparently that means nothing to this Post Office because per Armando P. my carrier accepts "VERBAL REQUESTS" from residents on when to stop delivering mail.I even have this on my voicemail stating this. I NEVER submitted a request for this! Armando didn't care about that and displayed poor customer service and NEVER really heard my frustration. I didn't yell, shout or use foul language. I was trying to tell him that this didn't have to go on for almost 26 days,I came in the office on April 9th to question what happened and received NO FOLLOW UP. He kept apologizing with a smirk and added that the carrier and I have the same last name...OK, what does that have to do with the fact that he took a verbal request from someone on the property? We are both 2 human beings with the last name Chavez, so what? That doesn't make us related. So because he is a Chavez I am suppose to not complain? I'm suppose to excuse his poor judgement because we are both Hispanic?! Are you kidding me? You as a carrier Jaime Chavez, have no idea what kind of people live at the residences you deliver to. My mother who is mentally unstable and very dangerous to me her daughter, told you not to deliver mail for any Chavez residents anymore....and you believed her. Sure, humor her and say OK but don't do anything with the people mail unless it's specified in the system that it needs to be redirected. I am appalled and disgusted with the complete disregard for people mail. Tampering with mail is a Federal Offense and because they are people tampering with it ( not delivering it, holding it) who do we complain to? oh and when I went to the office on April 9th there was no mail for me to pick up. But when I went in at 8:30am this morning guess what....mail magically appeared. Someone needs to really pay attention to this office and customer service reviews. Something needs to change. Also, the ONLY reason I FINALLY received a call back was because yesterday after 2 weeks of silence from Imer on April 9th I typed up a note stating I am frustrated and have finally placed a camera to see if anyone is delivering mail and if someone is stealing from me.I asked that someone call me ASAP. I got called. I didn't get to answer it so I got a voicemail. Then immediately after I hear the message about 2 minutes after Armando called me I called the # HE left on my voicemail and NO ANSWER. I called 10x. NO ANSWER.

This is by far the most incompetent post office I ever had to work with. Our business has been at the same address in a commercial business park for more than 7 years and still until today our mail gets delivered to some of our neighbors at least twice a week, and we get their mail, so I guess that evens it out? When we miss a package delivery, the carrier NEVER leaves a notice to let us know they were here. Online tracking then says that the package is held at the post office, but when we go there for pickup, the lady at the counter tells us that the carrier still has it on the vehicle. SO WHICH ONE IS IT? The website says it is held at the post office for pickup and the staff says it is not there???? And when we try to call the post office first to verify where the package is, nobody ever answers the phone - you can let it ring for hours without anyone picking up. I think they put the phone on silent at this post office. This post office is the absolute worst I have ever had to deal with from the carrier to the counter staff to the management.
