I just wanted to say that I have never had such amazing customer service. When I walked in today I knew they were closed and I was actually looking for any information about how I might send my package out as soon as possible. The US Postal employee, Wayne, was there finishing his shift after they closed. I asked him if there was another post office in the area that was open and instead he took the time to help me with the new machine that helps you print your own package stamps yourself instead of using the teller. Unfortunately the stamp that printed, didn’t print correctly. So Wayne went out of his way to serve excellent customer service and go above and beyond to help me get my package shipped as soon as possible. He could have just told me not to worry and stick it in the shoot for delivery, but instead he insisted that he took care of it and did a new label in the back and even made a copy of my receipt and took my name and number down to make sure he can track it and keep me updated. It’s nice to know there’s still good, hard working Americans today. Thank you Wayne and the US Postal Service.

Terrible office. The entire area is a black hole for packages. My package got misrouted through here and now it's gone completely dark, instead of it being forwarded to its correct destination. If an item goes through here, don't expect to see it ever again. I'm sure they are just stealing items and tossing the rest.

Truly the worst usps. They’re unorganized and lines are always long.

I've lived here my whole life and unfortunately don't have another option. At this point, the lack of service just makes me laugh. They stuff packages in my tiny mailbox which then becomes full immediately. The next day, if the mail isn't picked up they leave a notice saying that my mail is being held at the post office. Nope, it's not. This is where it gets fun- the hunt for the mail begins! This will usually take numerous back and forth phone calls, a few days and a couple of grey hairs to resolve. Congratulations, you've finally tracked down your three pounds of junk mail and one single package that was way too big to stuff into a mailbox in the first place. The best part- you get to do it all over again next week! PLEASE STOP STUFFING PACKAGES IN SMALL MAILBOXES!!!!!!

UPDATE: Since posting this I was contacted by the Postmaster after opening a case and got my leasing office on the phone with them. The issues were reported and sorted out and the mail has been stable. ____________________________________________________ Just pretend this office does not exist. Because it might as well not. Drop off your mail to a different location. I have lived in Glen Burnie my whole life and have NEVER had one SINGLE issue. I moved here and it is a completely useless post office. They do not have the means to perform as a standard post office. They either have untrained/lazy staff, terrible drivers or something. They could probably be on the news for shredding or stealing or destroying mail. -Lost packages, or delivered 2 or more days later than expected date. -Poor scanning, you wont know when it's ready for pickup/delivered/out for delivery (e.g. delivered 11am yet reflected at 6pm) -Postal worker does not show up to deliver mail sometimes up to 3 days in a row to my apartment community. -Marked unable to deliver on Sundays for amazon packages. No knock at my door, nor left at my door. -If you have a package delivery, they will send a goon sometimes as late as 8pm to deliver it and knock on your door... Office staff is unhelpful and refers to a number of a shipping annex supervisor that always puts you on hold and hangs up and you have to call 5+ times for him to lookup a package just to say he can't help... If you live in laurel, use UPS/fedex. Never use USPS for packages here - they can only handle junk mail and bills as federally mandated. Everyone needs to complain to USPS Office of the Consumer Advocate in DC. Google it. I was told to send a letter to them by a USPS representative.
