It is a post office.  Long lines to do a mundane task.  Staff was friendly though, so that was nice.

Mail has been lost more than once and just last year they sent us our election ballets back that we mailed in, they didn't get counted. Besides the few issues they do try hard to be friendly and fast, but i guess I still have a bad taste leftover from the mess ups and lack of care or follow up...

I had to renew my passport .  The staff was very friendly, efficient, and helpful with regard to the proper paperwork, fees, and sending method.  Suffice it to say, i did get my passport 2 weeks earlier than the expected 6 weeks.  Even though there are sometimes longer lines, it moves quickly.

Set up temporary forwarding to a friend's house I stayed at in San Carlos while I looked for a more permanent living situation. A week before I moved to Sunnyvale, I halted the temporary forwarding and set up a new one to my new house. Despite the halt, my mail was still getting delivered to the house in San Carlos. After many phone calls with both this branch and USPS HQ, they determined I'd have to submit an additional change of address. After filing the new change (and leaving a note to never deliver mail to the San Carlos house again), they continue to deliver mail there...
