Usually only two clerks on duty and they do not hurry. Separate line to pick up mail but is often slow to get someone to answer the bell there. They lost for a time a certified letter they had given me a notice to pick up. Do have a machine to weigh packages and purchase your own postage.

I was in line for 30 minutes. The cashier found something wrong with every single package and told them they had to fix it and get back in line. I’ve been in post offices in Chicago, Texas, NYC, Oregon, Massachusetts, etc. I’ve never dealt with such a miserable woman in my life. I’d rather pay extra for UPS. As much as I want USPS to survive- I do not want to support institutions that knowingly employee such difficult people. NO PACKAGE was good enough for her to process. Not a single one.

Cory, who is the supervisor at this location clearly does not care that our community mailbox has been broken into everyday. When I first asked for a supervisor I was told they are too busy. When I said I would wait Cory, finally came out with an attitude and said that their only obligation was to deliver mail. The fact that a thief has a master key and is opening the boxes everyday is not priority to correct. He said as long as the boxes are not damaged they will continue to deliver mail even though they know a problem exists.

never usually do this but I've never been over anaylized like I was today I was stared up and down while I was speaking to staff in line there she was not looking at me (no eye contact) just literally looking at my clothing and shoes (converse jeans and a long sleeve black shirt casual lol and had a tone with me like she was having a bad day I kept cool and just wanted answers about my package and she gave me a hard time. Her name was bahdeesh sorry if I miss spelled. Love other staff memebera but maybe she is new because I have never seen her before .

We have two parcel boes in our shared mailbox on the street. One has been broken for years. I had a parcel delivered and the carrier put it in the broken parcel box. The key doesn't work and I couldn't get it. I left a note to the carrier. The next day two more packages were put in the same broken box. I called the post office numerous times and no one answered the phone. On the third day a different carrier read the note and came to our house. We was nice, helpful and rectified the current situation but could not fix the root problem. He informed us that Modesto only has one person fixing broken mail box locks for the whole city. He said the previous carrier was a substitute and likely unaware the box lock was broken.
