I called from Dallas, Texas hoping update information on a package with the complete information that I sent to an individual in Syracuse. I had incomplete information (didn't know it was a business address inside of a mall) when I initially sent the package. The phone was answered quickly (~3:30pm EST), and the gentleman knew of the package that I was calling about. They were unable to deliver the package with the information I wrote on it. He mentioned how they tried to locate my phone # in the White Pages after using my return address info... he even recalled info about the apt complex I lived in. He tried to locate the package before it would be sent sent back as 'undeliverable'. They definitely went above & beyond before I ever called to check, and very good customer service when I actually called. I don't remember the supervisor's name of who I spoke with originally, but the manager who I followed up with the next day was Emilio (phone was also answered quickly in this instance); he was also fully aware of the situation and part of the measure to fix it for me. A+++ service from both individuals for an imperfect situation that I created.

Trainee made a mistake, understandable. But then, be apologetic. Don't nickel and dime your customers for things like tape on boxes after your mistake cost over an hour of their time.

Trying to call them is impossible. I tried every 15 minutes for 3 hours straight and wasn't able to get through. Our mail carrier marked a package delivered when it wasn't. Finally delivering it 3 days later with a note saying "not delivered on XXXXX date." Still haven't been able to contact anyone at the post office to find out why he marked it delivered when he hadn't delivered it.

This is an older post office, the lobby and service area re in need of updating. I work in East Syracuse, and will drive past the East Syracuse post office to come to Kinne St because the lines often move faster here...

Trying to reach them by phone is impossible. They must have the phone off the hook as after an hour 3:15-4:15p (hours are until 4:30p) of trying and getting only a busy signal, I gave up
