I don't know how anyone can possibly have negative things to say about this place. The staff are always as helpful as they can be. One of the staff literally held my hand and walked me through the process seeing that I'm a clumsy clueless college kid sending parcels the first time.

I had such a good experience at the Amherst Post Office today. Sue, a woman with kind eyes and a contagious laugh helped me get everything i needed with a speed and grace that are rare in todays world. I left feeling like everything was in its right place. And they even gave me a free envelope - one of the special big ones with the cardboard backing - for free! I couldn't have asked for more.

Depending on who you are talking to it can be a really nice or s really crappy  experience. It's OK for a USPS.

I visit this place for it being my nearest USPS store. I have good experience so far.
The staffs tend to hurry during rush hours - which some may interpreat as being rude.

They aren't bad. The negative reviews are true. However, if for every 3 mins, someone ask you the same question which you just explained to another guy, you will run out of patience soon. They are good people, very helpful. It's just a boring job and they get bored.
