Until recently we have had a great experience with the USPS in Hamilton, Michigan. But that's changed. New mail delivery person. She sits in the driveway and honks the horn expecting us to come outside to get our packages. We didn't hear her. After repeated honking we did finally hear and went outside. She was very huffy, rude and acted like we were interrupting her otherwise wonderful day. Since that day we now get little notes in our mail box asking us to pick up the mail at the post office. We went to the post office and were informed the packages couldn't be delivered because the mail delivery person didn't have room in her vehicle. Both days and both packages we the size of a shoe box. My parents have lived here for 25 years and have never had to pick up packages. Not sure why we have to pay for postage and then have to go pick it up. If any one at the USPS is actually reading this we would like a refund. Rediculous, unnecessary and brings to mind a couple words. FedEx & UPS.
