This is the worst moving experience in my military career. They turned me down the first time because the place is "unsanitary" (let's face it...it isn't that bad). Then after spending 300 dollars on cleaners, they still wouldn't move me. Oh, but wait who has the military contract in the area? United Van Lines. Worst company ever.

My co-ordinator Sandra Scott was excellent.  She answered questions and was a great go between for anything.  I did our own packing as in the past I have had the packing done and would prefer to do myself.  The pick up was not a great experience however our delivery was over the top and sure made up for what could have been a bad moving experience.  Thank you United Van Lines in Halifax for renewing my faith in the company.

Like everyone who listens to the news I have heard all of the horror stories associated with long distance movers. I'm here to tell you that Howard's Moving and Storage of Brandon Manitoba are the very best. This company is affiliated with United Van Lines and I could not be happier with them! Right from the start of considering my move to Leamington Ontario from Brandon MB I contacted them and David Howard came to our place and gave us an estimate. Very professional and very pleasant. I considered other options like U-haul and hiring someone at both ends to pack and unload our things but it just didn't add up. Our home was a while selling and we ended up getting another estimate from David Howard. Again ,very pleasant and professional and very thorough. We decided to use Howard's Moving and the times were agreed to for the movers to pack all of our things and move us. On the date agreed to the movers showed up and began packing. In a day and a half we were packed up and on our way. (this was a 1356 sq. foot condo ) They arrived on the date agreed to and unloaded everything in less than a day. When everything was unpacked there was not one broken item. These guys are amazing. The movers names were Don and Dan. (exceptional) Howard Moving is worth every dollar. Nice job guys!

Same two gentlemen packed, moved and unpacked our belongings. EXTREMELY IMPRESSED with the care they showed while packing our items. All items arrived at our new home undamaged and without issue. The crew arrived on time each day and kept us informed of updates on the status of the move etc. They had time after unloading our goods and even started to help us unpack boxes. As someone who has moved on several occasions for work and ulitized professional moving companies in the past, United Van Lines is by far the best experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We booked directly through Walker's Van and Storage in Deep River to move my mother from Haliburton to Deep River, Ontario.  The quote they gave was almost exact and actually came out a little less!!  The movers were punctual and very polite and professional.  All in all a very positive experience and as stress free as moving can be.
