If I could leave a zero I would. 
9pm on Easter Sunday, water suddenly stops working. Everything within our well on top is less than two months old (tank, pressure switch, wire, piping) everything underground is less than 3 years old (140ft of pipe, wire, pump). Husband checks the power and everything running to the pump. Wires are good. Power is good. 
I set a request with American Home Shield. They dispatch this company. They call me 9am Monday morning to tell me they will be out Wednesday. I have no water in my home so I call AHS they call UPC and then they call me back and say they will be here today. 
They come out, check everything and tell me that a wire is broken AND the breaker is bad. So they "fixed" the wire. And that I need to call an electrician to fix the breaker. They leave. Check the old breaker with multi-meter, it's fine. Change it anyway. Still fine. 
Call them back. They come back out. 

The guy is complaining about pulling the pump. So husband pulls it HIMSELF. 
The actual problem was that a junction between two parts came apart. They put a hose clamp back on and it's fixed. 

They wait until he leaves to call me and ask for $95 for the non covered items for our home warranty. And I'd have paid it, except they want us to believe that a breaker was bad (it wasn't), a wire was broke (it wasn't) AND the pipe fell apart all at the same time? And then DH hoisted the pump out of the ground himself while the guy watched him? 

They tried to get out of pulling the pump the first time they came out by telling me that it was the breaker. Thinking that we wouldn't fix it same day. But they literally put no work and no parts into this. Lied, and know that we know he was lying and still have the audacity to ask for another $95 on top of the $75 they got. 

Had they said that the warranty wasn't going to cover them tightening a hose clamp we'd have told them to take a hike. 

Save yourself, don't hire this company. 
If American Home Shield assigns them to you, call and tell them you want a different company.

We used universal plumbing through our home warranty. The guy that came by our house was very nice and went over everything that needed to be done before he started as well as how much it would cost. He even let us know half way through when he looked at our water faucet outside that theres a chance depending on how it was connected that it could break the pipe. He informed us that it would be covered if it did happen to. After it was all fixed we noticed on his way out that the water was now cloudy and he came back in to fix that as well real quick.

I have had many experiences with this company. In 2013 my father paid this company $10,000.00 to do work on the house I am presently living in. I continue to have problems with my pipes backing up when I wash clothes. The bathtub they installed is cracking on the sides and none of the bathroom faucets work correctly. 
Recently we had to hire them to install a hot water heater purchased through Lowe's due to the need to use a credit card we were forced to use them. We charged the hot water heater and installation. When the plumber came out to install the hot water heater we were informed it would cost an extra $580.00. I expressed my distrust of this company but the plumber assured me that he would do a good job. Here we are less than a month later and one of the tubes they connected is leaking and they want to charge us $90.00 dollars to fix it. I am disappointed that the man who came to my house was not honorable and back up his work.
I would advice anyone not to use this company.

Theyre not professional to deal with.. i called in for a leaky faucet and they scheduled me 7 days after my call and agreed on 11-1pm visit.. on the appointment day they didnt bother calling ahead if theyre coming so i called them at 1130am and was told i was next.. around 1245 still didnt c

Absolutely the worst company I've used in my life! Ricky is so unprofessional and lacks customer service skills. He came out to my home to repair the same problem he so called fixed and wanted to charge me an additional fee. Once I asked him what was the fee for he became argumentative as if this was a personal matter for him. I can write so much negative comments about this company but everyone already stated everything. The 24hr customer service line is fraudulent and a LIE they are pretty much there to just hear the problem, I called on a Saturday for emergency service and no one showed up until Monday EVENING!!! I recommended to my insurance company to recommend YouTube before using universal plumbing. These ppl are a joke!! And Rude!!! Please seek customer service and new employees except Josh! Josh, he was the most professional one working there. Thanks Josh for your attempt to resolve my issue but your company is rude and unprofessional so I will take my coins elsewhere.
