They nickel and dime you at every opportunity possible. Towels are $5 each. If you want to lay down, lounge chairs are $30 or else you are sitting all day. My husband just had knee replacement surgery and hard for him to bend his knee still so we are having to put 2 chairs across to he can sit without pain. We were so excited to come here only to find out it's all about the $$$. To boot, we are staying at one of their resorts. You would think that counts for something. Update: Changing my review from 1 star based on the customer service Yakira gave me. She is on point. They are lucky to have her.

This park is amazing for the whole family. I have been to the park three times and those three times have been the best experience I’ve ever had. Everytime I go there I have seen better progression throughout the park. The park and the payment and ride systems are progressing fast. The food there is amazing, sure it’s pricey but it’s worth it. One thing I’m not happy about is that it’s hard to find a spot to sit when you get there because all the seats are taken but hopefully there’s not many people in the park at this time of year considering it’s winter. All in all universal has done a great job with volcano bay.

Went there for the first year, a few months after it came out. AMAZING! A few things they can and will tighten up on, but it was LITTY! All of the complaints are minor things that they will working on,reason being, they take surveys throughout the park throughout the day. Overall best water park I’ve been to! Sn love the wrist watch idea!! Very convenient, only thing is it can fall off if it isn’t put on right, other than that, its lit

After reading some of the reviews we were a bit unsure of what to expect today. I don't know if we just got lucky and timed it right but it has been an absolutely fantastic day. Arrived after lunch and Park is quiet, no queues and the sun is shining! We have literally gone on every ride several times and not queued for more than two minutes. I'd imagine it would be a different story in the summer but today has been brilliant! Kids have loved it and were even getting off one slide and going straight back on! Great day!! Cheers

I had a great time while I was here. We were there for about 5 hours from 12-5. I got to try every ride and a few times on some that I enjoyed but had a shorter line. We had a great time in the wave pool and both of the lazy rivers. It seems like the biggest complaint for most people was the wait times, but when I went to the park, it was not a problem. I’m sure it was mostly a problem since the park is brand new and it’s summer. We had a ton of fun relaxing in the lazy river (the fast one is a blast) or wave pool, and there were a lot of great rides that were ready to ride with a short wait in line (averaged 15 minutes). The bathrooms were exceptionally clean. I hope they can keep it that way. Bathrooms are always a problem. Adding bare feet and water only makes it worse. Dirty bathrooms were not an experience for me. Parking and busing to the park took most people probably an average of 20 minutes. It was very efficient. The ticket lines were intimidatingly long, but most super quickly. I didn’t try their food, but they let us bring food in.
