Best place for students to live in Newark. Abundant study and entertainment rooms along with a theater. Fully equipped gym with yoga rooms. Dedicated game room for billiards, table tennis. Regular maintenance carried out every day. Strong adherence to rules and policies. Great administration staff. 24x7 security and resident-only access. Authorized guest visits only.

AVOID at all costs. Broken laundry machines(u have to pay for) broke heating /cooling systems . Broke elevators and broke wifi, took me 15 mins to write the review waiting for the wifi to load! They'll trick u into a 12 month lease especially when renewing, but when u have a 9 month lease it only cost 150$ a month to live here in the summer! Where's 12 month you pay almost a 1000$ a month . Save yourself the stress and headache

Horribly overpriced, rude and unhelpful staff, for the entire semester the elevators have been broken, and the semester before that the main entrance to the building was closed for over a semester. Half the people who love here smoke pot making the entire building smell but management doesn't care. The only reason they stay in business is because of the convenience but it is not worth it.

In my experience, I think the reviewers here have been a bit too harsh. I have been living in the University Centre since mid-January (about 3 weeks now) and have had nothing but good experiences. I live in a single apartment and, in addition to being modern and lovely, it came furnished with a couch, full sized bed, large flat screen television in the kitchen, a few end tables, wifi and a renovated kitchen (with, huge plus, a dish washer and insinkerator). The UC hires a cleaning service after the previous owner leaves, so it was also spotless when I moved in. The entire building is very clean, I haven't seen any bugs or mice since I arrived. Parking is directly connected to the building, the security guards are friendly and thorough and the facilities are in perfect working order. If the washing machines, dryers or gym equipment were out of order, they aren't anymore. Laundry machines are also on premises, accept card and are numerous enough that there are rarely wait times. I wanted to leave a positive review give a more complete picture of what living in the UC is like. Personally, I'm impressed by what they have to offer.

Management is rude they only want your money. The equipments in the gym are broken you cannot use it. In the computer room printer is never working. The internet is always down. Check google reviews before you think of rent a room here
