I'm currently sitting in a Dr. Office at the U of M. I come here once to twice a week sometimes. The bathrooms are always dirty. I've seen cleaner at roadside gas station. They tell you to park in the Taubman parking structure. It's always packed because the Hospital employee's park there. The 2 elevators to get from the structure to the hospital the one is always broke. Has been for months. This place is going down hill fast. I could go on regarding a fall incident, wrong medicine being given to my son in ER. No I would not recommend this Hospital. In the process of switching out.

After working for this place for 4 years, I got to tell you folks, this is the most disgusting politically motivated union I have ever worked for. I had an incident with the security of this hospital around May 2015. After realizing I was racially profiled by one of their security officers, I reached out to their supervisors and went on a long road to find answers and all I got was side notes of "we will get back to you". Say what you want about this place but, they are not diverse like they claim to be. It's not the same diversity that we see. They only allow someone to work and continue working there if they submit to their political line. This hospital destroyed itself by allowing this current administration to run things in a different way compared to the administration before that. So after quitting here about 2 weeks ago, I send an Email to the current head of security supervisors by the name of Michael Dillard about serious flaws in this administration and also about me being profiled and you know what he did? he gave my personal information to every security officer underneath him and told them if they spotted me on U of M property then I will be escorted out. And what did I do? all I did was question the integrity of this administration. If you are an Ann Arbor liberal who thinks this place is really racism free and everyone treats everybody with such respect, you are completely wrong. As a Syrian minority myself, my rights were violated over and over and every time I reached out to them for an explanation they never cared to pursue it. This place is long gone for corruption make no mistake about that. Next time you think of this union as the unity of this state, remember that hundreds of people's rights has been violated here and is present to this day EDIT: I was just told that If I ever contact U of M security again, they would press harassment charges against me. I'm just a 22 year old Syrian minority and that's how they treat us here for just questioning things. Good job U of M EDIT 03/02/2018: I reached out to the police cheif by the name of Numens, for an appeal of the tresspassing they put on me. I set up a meeting with him on March 15th. They are still refusing to release the reports that they posses on me until I meet with the police cheif. Even though my name is on every one of them. Will keep updating going forward.

Fantastic people here, guy just gave me fifty cents so I could park when I asked him if I could trade five pennies for a nickel for the meter. Thanks guy!! (The education offered at this University is also arguably the finest in Michigan)
