The YMCA at the University of Illinois provides new and challenging opportunities that help to expand the vision, deepen the spirituality, and achieve a more meaningful integration of the array of ideas, knowledge and skills gained from these experiences.

To do this, the University YMCA focuses on the following goals and objectives:

1. Stimulate spiritual, intellectual and ethical growth
2. Foster good interpersonal and intergroup relationships
3. Promote international and intercultural awareness and respect
4. Encourage leadership in all of our work
5. Promote social, political and economic justice and the maintenance of the integrity of the natural world
