Well, despite all the bad reviews on here, I found no choice (since I was coughing terribly & feeling pretty run down), but to go to the Robinson office on Sunday (since I have UPMC insurance). Everyone was very friendly and efficient, and Dr. Donna Harrison did not seem rushed at all (as some other reviews stated their doctors were), listened to me, and she seemed very knowledgeable about how to treat my symptoms. I would not hesitate to use this office again.

Waited an hour to get in. Was having severe asthma attacks. Doctor came in and listened to my breathing. "No wheezing, not that big of a deal you're fine". Literally could barely catch my breath. Prescribed me a steroid pack and then felt the need to tell me to write my congressman about medication coverage and tell me how bombing Syria wasn't going to solve anything. Thank you for wasting my time and money, my condition did not get any better, and I got a free unprovoked political lesson instead. Won't be going back.

This was my first visit to an urgent care facility for treatment for myself. The registration was quick and once I was in the room the triage process was fairly thorough and the girls were friendly and everything seemed very efficient, as I would expect from a UPMC facility. However, the physician came in, spoke to me for a bit and preformed a basic check. I had been running a fever for four days that had been as high as 103 at times, I had severe back pain, and I was experiencing episodes of shaking chills and nausea. After a urine analysis was performed, the physician returned and I was told that I had an infection that was involving my kidneys. He told me that I was really sick and that it was a good thing I had come when I did. Despite this, he sends me on my way with a prescription for antibiotics and tells me that I should be fine to return to work the next day. This would be to a 12 hour shift in a busy hospital, which he was aware of. He proceeds to explain that there is large blood flow to the kidneys and they respond quickly to antibiotics so I should feel better after one dose. What physician tells a person with a kidney infection that they will be better after one dose of an oral antibiotic? I was flat on my back for three days following that, I could not move out of bed. I am still nowhere near back to my normal energy level. I went to pick up my work excuse and it was not at the front desk as I was told on the telephone that it would be, it had to be reprinted. I asked for it to be extended for an extra two days and was told that by law they cannot excuse from work longer than three days, but that did not include the weekend. So it's three business days?? That makes no sense since many people are not off weekends. Based on my symptoms and retrospectively knowing how sick I was, I feel the treatment was shoddy at best and exactly why people avoid urgent care centers. I expected more from UPMC, as I have experience with them elsewhere and they typically do not disappoint. If you are sick with more than a sore throat or cold, go an Emergency Department and stay away from urgent care. It's convenience store medicine.

The receptionist at the front desk was extremely nice and excellent at her job. The timing of checking in to going to the patient room was great. I waited 20-30 minutes before the doctor arrived. When she came in, you could sense the doctor was in a hurry and was trying to move onto the next patient. She checked my pulse and my breathing, handed me a pill to calm my stomach down, then asked me what I ate the night before and blamed it on it. Meanwhile, I had eaten the same thing before and had no issue. I proceeded to ask a few questions, but the doctor was literally outside the door and by the time I got my last word out the door had closed. The time I had with the doctor was maybe at best 2 minutes max. I received a bill in the mail for $85, which the entire encounter was a complete waste of my time and money. I will not be a returning guest and I strongly recommend not going there unless you need attention right away. I'm not a complainer by any means, but I feel obligated for the public to be aware before making their decision to go there. Thank you for your time.

Worst care ever. I injured my back pretty bad and there was no other location opened at that time except this facility and the ER. I wanted to be sure, before rushing to the ER, that I would need to seek further medical attention. The doctor, seemed to not care at all. He arrogantly walked in, did a quick diagnosis, prescribed some medication, and immediately left. He didn't even tell me what he thought the injury might be nor give me time for some questions. As he was leaving the facility I called out to him to ask a quick question regarding my injury. He proceeded to keep walking to his car and didn't even stop to look at me. He yelled out an answer, got into his car and drove off. Granted I walked in a few minutes before their closing time but it's not like I purposely planned to have my injury right before they closed. I work in retail and if a client walks in a few minutes before closing time, we still give them the excellent service and attention they deserve. This facility didn't want to give any indication that they care nor did they pride themselves on customer service. It's not like I came in to buy a car, I came in because I got injured. I would have rathered paid more to go to the ER than to deal with these people. I wouldn't recommend anyone go to this facility - especially if you value your health.
