I have been to see Dr Michael Boyer at this office and he is one of the Best Dr. I have ever seen , and his Staff is Awesome also.

The Dr Sean Irvin was a good doctor to me, I can say that about him however some of the front desk people were harsh and unprofessional, also to make an appoitment I had to drive 25 miles because there were no response to my messages, also in order to obtain any type of info over the phone is impossible, the front office ladies deny my medical records she said I had to go to GHS now to obtain them however once I got over there it was not true!! they just did not wanted to give them to me. The patient, If you can find a more realiable ethical place will avoid you trouble and unnesesary trips.

I would not recommend them for someone that is dealing with major pain from tendinitis or osteoarthritis. I was treated like I was not even in pain and was just looking for pills. I have been hurting for months that why I went to the doctor, the over-the-counter stuff was not working nor was the ice and elevation. Then I am being released to go back to work, stating that walking is the best. All the walking I do at work put me in this pain. The boot and anti-inflammatory is not helping, foot still hurts and swells up. I appreciate wasting my time and money on a place that does not care about their patients. Even had to see the assistant again when my appointment was made with the doctor 3 weeks ago. If I could deal with the pain and stuff myself, I wouldn't need to seek medical help!

Would not recommend this practice to anyone. I've been having problems with tendinitis, bursitis and impingement off and on for 2 yrs. Over the last 3 1/2 months it has been flaring up and getting progressively worse so I went to see a NP at my general practice. She prescribed a brace and an anti inflammatory and said if it didn't get better to follow up. Well, there was no change so I came to Upstate Bone and Joint hoping to get some more proactive treatment. However, the PA there would not administer a cortisone shot and prescribed an anti-inflammatory and yep, you guessed it, the same brace I've been using for months now. Some specialists. Also, I left a message with the office manager reporting my experience and asking for a response but have yet to hear back. Save yourself a pricey copay and go elsewhere!
