The venue is pretty small, but the DJ was very good the night that my group was there.  They had good drink specials until midnight, but the selection was extremely limited.  There top shelf options  were limited to Hen and Ciroc, but I assume they are going off of their normal clientele.  There is an adequate amount of seating.

The lounge was very nice and clean. Nice people, has a great vibe when you walk through the door! The structure is nice and well built. It makes me want to throw a party there. Bar is clean and has a various selection for drinks. Overall great place and great vibes.

If you looking for a place to relax enjoy music, poetry, girls or guys night out this is a fabulous place to go to. The Staff is wonderful. I was always looking for somewhere to go in Durham instead of traveling, instead I found that place 
Uptown Bar and Lounge Durham NC. Thanks for all the support and a place to go to with different events that is ongoing all the time.

I love the open environment. You're not on top of everyone. Plays good music, a variety of old school music and new school music. Friendly staff and the apple martini is a must try. Overall, I would go back. I had a good time!!
