I have a cat who requires immediate medical attention pretty often. My regular vet suggested this place to go for that purpose. I was glad I took that advice. This place does not require appointment. You can just walk in with your pet when you need it. Service is fast, staffs are friendly and most importantly the doctors are knowledgeable and super patient.

Last year my cat was diagnosed with cancer and had to be put down. I was blown away by how caring and thoughtful the vets and staff were at the Urban Animal Capitol Hill location. (When we called ahead, they set up a separate room for us to give us privacy, and allowed us to pay in the room before the procedure so we didn't have to go out into the lobby. They also sent us a condolences card later which was so sweet). I adopted another cat a few months later and was thrilled to see that they were opening a downtown location, which is closer to me. My experiences at this new location have also been great. I've been in twice s far and the vets and staff are super friendly, we are always quick in and out, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

This place is great. My dog gets top notch care, quickly, at an affordable rate. Those three criteria were tough to meet before urban animal came around.

I have been to UA Capitol Hill twice and had great experiences both times. I find their staff to be kind, professional and forthright. I have never waited more than 15 minutes to see a doc and their prices are reasonable! I highly recommend them. No appt needed and free parking.

I appreciate that this clinic is open every day and walk-in only. Both times I've been here for urgent issues. I've never had to wait in the lobby more than 5 minutes. The staff is caring and good at explaining different treatments. I also like that they sent me a complete inventory of the costs I paid for; transparent and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
