Highly recommend this passport facility! It's inside the UC Berkeley rec center so you might think it's for students only, but it's open to the public. You sign in via iPad and receive a text when it's your turn. There is a little waiting area next to a cafe so you can comfortably sit and wait, but in our case we waited fewer than five minutes. The person who helped us was so nice and efficient--we were finished with our passport application in fewer than 10 minutes after walking in the door. Lots of metered parking right outside, too. Five stars!

Pretty good took over a hour but so many people it's worth the wait when you have limited days for service workers efficient and helpful thanks
