This location is one of these private rent a post places that USPS has partnered with, probably to save money. The customer service is really awful at this location, they routinely overcharged me to mail things. Don't even attempt to ship something to Canada, they make it way more difficult than it has to be. I stopped using this location and make the drive over to the Clover P.O. after they lost a package that I dropped off. They never bothered to scan it in, so there was no tracking on it.

I live in Belmont but just across the border from SC and Lake Wylie is actually closer for me. Found this little place (not a full service post office) when the Belmont PO was closed again. This is actually a whole lot closer for me and best of all, it was open when all of the Gaston County Post Offices were closed! 1) Great alternative 2) Closer 3) It's Open when Gaston County Post offices are not sometimes! It is small, and while I was 2nd in line when I got there, the line was 8 deep by the time I paid and left. They have 3 lanes, but today only staffing 1 lane. Still convenience even with a line saved me time.

These people are horrible, I run a business from home and all my products get shipped from my location to my customers. That means I rely heavily on usps to get my packages from me to my customers. When I schedule a package to be picked up from my location I expect the mail person to PICKUP THE PACKAGE AS SCHEDULED. I was home all day working in a tiny apartment and they never came to pickup the package, my customer was furious that her shipment will now be late. But whatever, it's just money out of my pocket, usps really doesn't care. Jerks.
