This post office hasn’t delivered any of my mail for 2 months now. Have had a mail hold for 1 of those months and STILL no mail. Informed delivery notifies me that I have mail waiting there today, go in and they have nothing! Thieves in this post office without a doubt. USPS is in the worst shape it’s ever been.
For some reason these people don't know the difference between north and south. I get so much mail belonging to someone who gets my mail in return.
The worst! This place is filled with ignorant employees, that run to the back of the building and threaten to call the cops on you for trying to put a hold on your mail. Absolutely lazy and do not want to do there work. Majority of people in steelton have not received mail in either days or weeks. This is ridiculous and this place needs a complete restructuring of the employees. The people that work here are honestly so rude that if u dont have self control you will end up doing something to someone.
I live in Steelton on upper part of the Swatara Street, giving two "stars" instead of one only because of the honestly good job of the regular mailman, whom the management of the postal services uses as a "scape goat".
This is a very historic, small town post office from decades ago. Architecturally, it is very beautiful. It is unfortunately located in a very sketchy town. The services offered are minimal but efficient. Patrons need to make sure they know how to conduct themselves in public as this is officially a government building.
I been going to this.. Post office! The last 8 year's "" we'll the other day.. I go there. To Let the Manager know who ever the mail man is he is throwing 7 apts. Mail on the floor which is 193 south front street steelton. He was nasty about it then I asked to hold my packages he tells me he isn't going to hold the Package do I see how small it is inside the post office "'""can you guy's fix this please and thank you I've been living here in thus same apt for 8 year's and its always a problem I truly wish Steve was my mail man again and the Manager was black with glasses he need's to be more Professional. Their mailman do not know how to fo their jobs. I was stolen from my sketches and now I can't claim it . They leave packages at your house when you are not home. Its just a terrible business will never use them to have anymore of my packages be delivered by them.
All I wanted to do was speak to someone in the post office service. Everything was an automated and it didn’t even give you the option to do that it just kept saying passports. What happened to the day or people just answered good morning Steelton post office
I've been trying to pick up packages for the past 3 weeks and can't since every time I go at 11 the desk has a note at 11 saying they're on break... I go at 2pm and same thing.
Would give them zero stars if I was able too. Very rude women always in the front counter and is very sluggish. She goes on break around 2 and the whole building is closed because she’s at lunch. Very inconvenient to only have one person in the front.
