Worst post office I've ever had to work with ever. I come from a long line of postal workers in my family so I feel I'm more forgiving than most but when our post carrier finds endless excuses to NOT deliver our mail including claiming our brand new mailbox is inaccessible and blocked, repeating time and time again; then I had to complain. If you're too lazy to do your job then do us all a favor and don't work. This place has cost me more and more money by sending packages back and NOT even notifying me to pick them up and so I've had to have items resent and then chewed the poor company, who did their jobs in the first place by sending it. The only saving grace is Gloria, she is personable and does her job. The post master said she'd return my call and never did and then the post carrier came to my door (for the first time ever) just to tell me how he didn't appreciate how I complained about him, got him in trouble and tried to guilt me for him not doing his job. He finally apologized for not delivering my mail and carrying it in his car for a week, making it so I couldn't pick it up at the post office. I thought bygones were bygones but he's gone back to just not delivering again. They really need to clean house and hire some people who will do the job and who want and need the job!

This post office is a joke. They decide which packages they leave at my house and then say they sent a notification that they delivered it, when they didn't. Plus the hours are completely ridiculous. Especially for the greater population that works until 5 throughout the whole week...I even called to ask if they would leave the package at my house and they said "we don't do that"...I live 8 miles outside of town...

The workers here are lazy and forgetful with unwarranted attitudes. I inquired about a mail key and was told "ugh, don't tell me you live on xxx street." Uhhh, so what if I do? Is there a problem with me trying to check my mail? Is it an inconvenience for you? I know it's hard trying to run a post office on the outskirts of Rapid City in a place with a low population. I've been told numerous times I'll be called once the key for my box is made - it's been over 2 weeks and not once have I been called. Now I have to go there exactly at 4 pm to meet the carrier that has the key and he may or may not be there. Give me a break, I just moved here and am trying to get access to my mail and am treated like I'm bothering them whenever I come in. Don't count on anybody to give you a slip or tell you what's going on when a package comes. It's completely on you to pester them to find out where it is or else it will just sit there. I think I'll just go to another post office over the holidays so I don't have to deal with them, it's always a headache, never fails.

A very pleasant experience - the staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend working with this post office.

Staff seems short tempered and bothered to do what they are paid to do there.
