I live about 40 minutes away. I called and asked what their hours were, because I work at night and sleep during the day I don't get the chance to get things done like regular people, they said they're open until 6pm. Fantastic, I think to myself, I can send this box out before work. I then asked if they were able to ship flat rate boxes, they said yes. I drive all the way out there and I get to the little desk so I could write my return label when the lady at the desk says to me, "I can't process those." Even though I wasn't at the counter yet. I asked her what she meant by that and she said, "The computer is down, didn't you read the sign? I put up a sign." Apparently, the computer had been down all day. I don't appreciate being told that you can send the flat rate boxes just to be told no when I get there. I wasted not only my time but my gas as well.

I have been waiting 10mins in line and still five people in front of me.  There is only one USPS employee here working the USPS customers and the bill pay station for local utilties.  I feel sorry for this employee because  they are  getting worked to death.  Come on USPS get this employee some help.
