I have never written a Google review before. I'm 36 and I never planned on it. But the experience I had here was terrible in so many different ways, that I would be doing my community an injustice if I remained indifferent.

Even thinking about the experience infuriates me. So, I will skip the details and leave out the names of the people involved in this incident. This is for USA Pawn and Jewelry corporation, not their employees. 

I could seriously write pages upon pages of feeling belittled, insulted and EXTREMELY ANGRY about this incident, but I am going to focus on the serious issue that needs to be addressed-

This post is strictly to warn my peers NOT TO PURCHASE ITEMS FROM THIS RETAILER. 

I HAVE FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE WITH THEM.  

I CAN TELL YOU WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT THAT THEY SELL DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS.  I can also prove from first hand experience that THEY DO NOT INSPECT THEIR ITEMS ON INTAKE. 

When I pawned my analog outboard music studio gear to them, I made it quite clear that I was very upset about being sold a defective piece of digital outboard equipment 2 months before. 

When I did set up the item, it powered on, but it didn't work. 2 of the buttons were completely broken, they just looked fine until I pressed them. When I returned it, I was greeted with...and I'm ABSOLUTELY SERIOUS...the worst customer service that I have EVER experienced. 

As far as I'm concerned, if USA Pawn hires an assistant manager and allows them to be in charge of the entire operation for part of the day, THAT EMPLOYEE NOW SPEAKS FOR AND REPRESENTS THEIR ENTIRE CORPORATION.

They offered no apology and suggested that I broke it. I handed the $200 Digidesign FX processor to them and told them to throw it away for me. 

So, as I was fuming at the other end of the store, they were coming up with the most ridiculous low-ball loan numbers that were so insulting that I almost laughed when they gave me their offer. 

THEY BASE THEIR INTAKE PRICES ON THE LOWEST PRICE FOR THE ITEM ON EBAY, EVEN IF THERE IS ONLY ONE IN TERRIBLE CONDITION.   

I gave them $900 worth of microphones and analog outboard gear to hold for a few days and they gave me only $115. (Of course, this does not concern me because I'm picking up the items on Thursday. I was only there to get about $100 on hand for the night.)

HERE'S THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS EXPERIENCE THAT YOU NEED TO KNOW-

When they put the $115 dollars in my hand, AFTER the paperwork was signed... THEY HAD NOT EVEN PLUGGED ANY OF MY GEAR IN YET TO SEE IF IT POWERED ON.

I looked at them in shock and asked, "So are you sure this stuff here is good to go? Did you even check it?" Their response was just as unbelievable. "Nah. There's another person in line behind you and we're trying to close." 

So the same person who told me that I broke the equipment I bought, because it wouldn't have left the store in a broken condition...JUST SHOWED THAT THEY WERE LYING TO MY FACE ABOUT THE GEAR BEING IN PROVABLE, WORKING CONDITION WHEN IT LEAVES THEIR STORE.

MUSICIANS AND AUDIO ENGINEERS- 

THEY DON'T HAVE ANY TRS, XLR, MIDI, OR TS CABLES TO TEST AUDIO EQUIPMENT THERE. THEY HAVE NO PRE-AMP, BOARD, TAPE MACHINE, OR COMPUTER TO HOOK ANYTHING UP. 

IF YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M SAYING, THEN YOU UNDERSTAND THAT THERE IS NO WAY THEY CAN CONFIRM IF AUDIO EQUIPMENT THEY PUT ON THE SALES FLOOR FUNCTIONS CORRECTLY.

Try to purchase a gun here and loose your money....you won't get your gun and will loose deposit because they  have no clue how to sell a fire arm or what the laws are. Vern is very un professional  and takes pride in rooking you for money

If you buy something form this store you only have 24 hours to return it for your money back. Anytime after the 24 hours you will get in-store credit. How it works is this they will give you a slip or recipt with the credit amount on it and if you lose that slip well tough luck your out money. This is poor business practice. Be aware of what you buy i would hatefor someone to lose their money.

Just about criminal. 1oz US Silver eagle, $17 spot. offered $5...that's right, $5 for 1 ounce of silver. I have never seen any reputable place go less that 10% under sport and silver eagles usually demand spot. Just stay away.

I am only giving them one star because there is nothing less to give them! I have never tried to pawn anything there BUT i have tried to by something. I wanted a gun that they have in the back and they told me that it would be available in a week. They said they would call me. I called back 2 weeks later and still no luck. I called again today for the THIRD time. They said "the bosses upstairs" still don't know how to sell the gun. Seriously? They wont last with their of people skills.
