I have been a patient of Dr. Guinn for about 10 years now. I used to be in constant, intense pain.  My jaw was mialigned and has severe arthritis. After following his treatment plan I feel like I have my life back. The pain is gone and and my arthritis bone loss has stopped progressing. I go in every couple years for check up. He is the best. His staff is so wonderful. They always are friendly and professional and get back to be quickly if I need anything.

+ months ago I simply yawned and suddenly I was in more pain that I had ever experienced in my entire life! I tried dentists, a chiropractor, and my family physician. Muscle relaxers, jaw "exercises", and a round of steroids did NOTHING! I couldn't eat, I couldn't sleep, and on many days I couldn't talk. When I was referred to him I reluctantly made an appointment. I figured he would just give me some generic mouth guard and send me on my way. I was wrong! Yes, the consultation was expensive, but I was in so much pain I was willing to pay anything. His staff is very friendly and answered any questions. He came in, did an exam, and read the CT scan they did. When he explained everything to me he was very thorough and made sure I understood what he was talking about. I decided to go ahead and do the treatment. Last night was my first night wearing the splint and for the first night in those 6 months I woke up pain free! I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Guinn saw what pain I was in from severe arthritis and bone deterioration in my jaw, he was willing to do everything he could to work with me and make it so I could afford to come in and get the help that I so desperately needed. I have been seeing him for 4+ years and he has provided me relief that I couldn't even imagine I could have. He has such an accommodating and sweet staff as well. I give this practice multiple thumbs up! Worth every penny.

I just feel the need to let everyone know that Dr. Guinn probably saved my life.  He is very kind and treated me so gently. Even though at the time my prognosis wasn't good. He had found a tumor that had eaten away at my jaw joint. He was very concerned and got me into a surgeon for a consult the very next day. I thank God for Dr. Guinn and his super friendly staff. I was scared to death and they were awesome. The surgery went well and by the grace of God I am here to write this. If any of you are having pain or cracking/popping I urge you to trust Dr. Guinn and get help. I promise you won't be sorry.

Dr. Guinn is a excellent specialist and can direct you to the appropriate care and action needed for your jaw health.  I have had jaw issues for over 15 years and it was so bad at some times that my mouth would not open.  Couldn't drink, or eat.  It would take an hour or so of me in the shower with hot water on my face to get my jaw to open and release.  I originally saw my dentist in Colorado where I was living at the time and he gave me a jaw splint.  It has done wonders.  

I moved to Utah and saw Dr. Guinn in 2013 or so to get a full exam by a TMJ specialist just to make sure I didn't have any other issues.  Let me tell you, it is WORTH the MONEY!  Save up now, because you are going to get tons of information.  He recommended physical therapy and to get a new splint.  I am not a huge fan of physical therapy and I felt that my splint was working well at the time so I waited until this year (2017) to get a new splint.  

I called the office and had ease at scheduling as well as given the cost for the device and two office visits and that I would pay it at the time I received the new splint.  My specific cost was $750.  This can vary patient to patient depending on what is needed.  Dr. Guinn has great bed side manner and his assistants and front office staff are fantastic.  

If you are someone who has suffered from jaw pain, save your money and see Dr. Guinn!  The only recommendation I have is to hire a full time employee to answer the phone.  Usually when I call I get a voicemail, and quickly receive a response back after leaving a detailed message, but it would be nice to speak to someone directly when I call in.
