With a recommendation to visit Murphy's and come to this restaurant, I had salmon with mushroom risotto. Really enjoyed they meal! The restaurant was really nice, and the staff was very attentive. Definitely would come back here again.

Went there for our anniversary.  Had reservations. Sat at a cozy table just off bar at window overlooking garden. But hosts came and asked if we would move so she could use our table to seat a larger party. Ok I'm a nice person. We were sat at a table on veranda overlooking the driveway.
Our waitress was very lovely.  Good service. 
My husband and I both ordered the chicken scallopini. Chicken was ok but the pasta was pasty. I don't know why, I've never had pasty pasta. I'm  sure the pasta was freshly made but wow it was not good. We had the waitress box it since we couldn't finish it. I was going to send it back and order something else, but it was our anniversary and I didn't want to make a issue of it. 
We had dessert and again were very dissapointed. I ordered cheesecake with berry compote.  It was so sweet, the berries overpowered the cheesecake. 
This was the second time we ate at V. I think the chef had a off night, because our last experience was excellent.  
I really prefer to let the staff know when a dish is not enjoyable, but my husband and I didn't want to wait to reorder or make a issue, so I am writing this review in hopes that the kitchen will be aware and address the issue of pasty pasta.
P.S. the Devils on horseback are amazing.

Our waiter Christian was excellent!! We did NOT have reservations but we where given a nice table out side , Food was to die for !!! Husband had pork chops , wonderful. I had the muscles.yummie !! And if you have time get the NO BAKED CHEESECAKE​ !!🤗🤗🤗🤗
And a BIG THUMBS UP FOR WHO EVER MADE THE COCKTAILS 😁😱🙋🙋🙋
