Unfortunately as a OIF and OEF veteran, I am extremely disappointed by the customer service at this facility. Every time I call I am questioned if I'm the veteran (not that it should even matter). There was an appointment mix up and since I work late hours, I try to get the latest appointment possible. The person I seen last there was able to see me at 4 p.m. & unbenounced to me, he scheduled that himself. So the woman I spoke to today was trying to reschedule my missed appointment, since I missed the one at 3pm and I asked about a later appointment at 4pm. She rudely said "he doesn't have any at 4pm! He scheduled that last appointment himself." How am I supposed to know this? Then she's speaking to someone else in the office saying "she wants you to see her at 4pm!" This is a personal appointment and not one that I find very pleasant. It's been extremely difficult for me for YEARS to get the help that I need and to be treated so low today as if I was inconveniencing her, is upsetting and embarrassing (isn't scheduling part of her job?). Once she started spewing to whomever it was in that office i said "forget it! I am done with you people!" And hung up. I am just trying to survive and raise my family. I spilled my guts out to this guy at the last appointment and was so disoriented afterwards, I was looking forward to this next appointment to concentrate on healing. How dare the people at these facilities or any customer based facilities for veterans (even their families) treat anyone this way? I would've been fired on the spot if I pulled that at my job. I would've been reprimanded in the military for being that way too. Disgusting. Thanks a lot port jervis VA clinic. Luckily I'm not like the many others that are fatally suffering and needs your help.
