I've had nothing but good experiences with Valley Cleaners for the last 10 years. No problems whatsoever. I even call them up to ask if a certain items must be dry cleaned, or if I can wash them. Most of the time Melinda tells me I can wash them.

I feel like these guys are stealing from me. They advertize washing by the pound and that is what I asked for. I dropped off 2 nylon ski jackets and a polar fleece jacket and asked for them to be washed. They did wash, not dry clean, them but they are charging me the dry cleaning rate. To add insult to injury, they claim that the liners of the ski jackets are separate individual items and billed me individually for those as well for a total of about $40.00. All for about 4 lbs of machine washable items. I estimate the the difference in price between what I asked for and what they are charging at about $35.00. The clerk is blaming this on me for not asking how they were going to clean them, but they clearly had the per pound price listed and I am positive I asked for the items to be washed - Not dry cleaned. The openly hostile clerk also refused to get the owner on the phone or give me the contact info for the manager, said that these charges were my "fault" and Stay away

brought my parka there for snap repair - all parts were there - they just needed to affix the snap back to its original location on the cuff instead, they lost the piece (the main problem) and charged me $2 for work which was obviously not done (as NOTHING was done, apart from losing the snap which I may or may not be able to replace) great, just great
