This is the only reputable breeder in the state of Ca that I could find.who is breeding true first generation cockapoos! 
They are simply a mix of poodle and cocker  that give hybrid vigor, and negate genetic weaknesses that either breed might have.  They have been around since the 50s,

But all the other breeders I found are breeding cockapoo to cockapoo (inbreeding)  to make them all look alike and thereby inbreed defects. 

Don't be fooled that his website looks so great that it might be fake. He has a beautiful, spotless home on several acres and a lovely family. This is where you'll get a quality pup!

BTW, i case you're wondering, I'm not a relative or a friend. I met Angie when we drove out to select our pup from the litter when she was five weeks old. And we met Jose when we went to pick her up at eight weeks.
