I have experienced a pleasant time here. Its not a busy airport. Its nice and clean. Its better than most airports in my opinion.

I favor this airport over our other options in the Valley. I don't mind the drive from Brownsville over to Harlingen for a smooth traveling experience. Never disappoints.

Small little airport has it all.  No need to arrive 3hrs prior to your flight as advised by the airline.  Just arrive an hour prior.  Security is a breeze, hardly any lines.  There is only one gate open at a time so there is plenty of space!  Wifi is very good plus finding a place to charge is not a hassle.  Quiznos is inside the terminal, again, hardly any waiting.

Good airport, and my favorite, in the Valley. Southwest flies out of here, so you know they're friendly here 😉. Have never had a problem checking in, going through TSA, or with the gate agents and getting in and out of the airport is a snap. Terminals and restrooms are clean, although the parking lot could use some resurfacing, but nothing too bad.

Amenities are sparse but there are virtually never any lines or throngs of people to navigate. Much more spacy and vibrant than any other valley airport, with cheaper fares as well. Plenty of space in the terminals for waiting on your flights. Flights also seem to have quicker turnaround times at this airport and the runways are longer which makes it a lot less scary than flying into or out of mcallen.
