We haven't typically used dealerships in Longmont, for some reason we just haven't had a great experience.  That said, we had an Armada from Boulder Nissan years ago, but thought we would try again in Longmont to stay local.  Awesome experience.  I wasn't pestered, no prank calls, they were courteous and what really turned me to Valley Nissan was Michael Marquez.  He is just a really nice guy, knows his cars well and presented an overall plan.  After talking with him, I had no motivation to go anywhere else even though I had planned to do so.  I had done some preliminary research online like most folks do and narrowed down what I wanted.  Michael was an awesome advocate for me and for a very long time felt like he was on my team trying to get me best deal without the pestering.  He was very professional, he listened to my needs and didn't let anyone run me over with more than what I wanted.  I have to say even the signing of paperwork was a reasonably pleasant experience.  I have to say, it took me back a bit.  I've been to many dealerships, I lease some what frequently through my business and so was used to the "dealership" experience that usually isn't so fun.  This was a great experience, great sales person and we got the vehicle we wanted.  I highly recommend looking up Michael if your in the market for a new or used car. Thanks Valley Nissan, our confidence has returned in Longmont dealerships.

Today was unusual.  Two days ago I purchased a Nissan Leaf in Denver, but because they were too busy, they did not detail it nor complete the preparation of my new car, even though I paid cash for the car -- just don't understand that business model.  I could take it back there, but sadly the electric car did not have enough battery power to do this, nor did I have the time from my work day.  

I was stuck.  I dropped by Valley Nissan in Longmont, Colorado, and met a gentleman named Heath Koldeway in sales and explained my problem and asked if he could help me.  Not only did he get it detailed for me, which he had no obligation to do, he charged the battery, installed the front license tag holder which was not previously provided, and was full of advice on how to get the best out of my new car.  I now have a great looking all electric car --- thanks to Valley Nissan and my new friend Heath.  Without hesitation I would recommend Valley Nissan to anyone wanting the old fashion "I really care about you" attitude.  He has my business from now on.

The sales guy I worked with wrote a price on a piece of paper and told me I needed to sign the paper to agree to it. When I said I would not agree to anything until I at least test drove the car, they ripped up the paper and said that price was no longer available to me! Needless to say, I went to another nearby Nissan dealership where they ordered me the customized version of the vehicle that I wanted, and for cheaper. Oh, and don’t even get me started on Valley’s maintenance department that charged me over $100 to diagnose the problems with my trade-in, which they first said were under warranty for known transmission defects, and then changed their mind. Very poor business practices at this place.

Bought my first car today through Codey Gray and Michael Marquez. Both of these guys were super nice, understanding, knowledgeable, and above all, they made the process of buying my car as painless as possible. If you're looking for a car, go to this place.
