I purchased a lovely bedroom set at a very reasonable price from the Florence store. . Very happy with it.Our salesman was Jay and he was very nice. The two gentlemen that delivered the furniture Shanon and Vice were very professional and courteous did a great job putting everything together. Very nice young men. Your company should be very proud to have such kind and caring workers. Thank you for a lovely shopping experience. I will definitely recommend and shop here again.

Bought a couch, love seat, and recliner combo for around $1600. After around 1.5 years the arm on the right side literally fell off. We had bought the extended warranty to cover accidents, spills etc. Called the warranty company that partners with value city. Waited over a month for them to come out and inspect the couch. 4 days later received an email saying our couch was " a cause of vandalism or abuse" and that our warranty did not apply. I called and value city only referred us back to the other company and said sorry about your luck should have bought a nice set!!!! Never again will I buy from them I would say you should not either.

My husband and I shopped at the Florence Value City location and were very specific with what we wanted in our bedroom collection. We chose the waverly collection which included the panel bed (King), dresser w/ mirror, and the waverly night stand. We also added the Waverly chest and an additional night stand.  At checkout the price did not seem right, it was higher than expected. The salesperson walked away and then returned saying she had ordered the storage bed by mistake, but corrected the order. She was very polite and friendly to work with. Our furniture was delivered on Saturday 2/10/2018, but the bed rails were broken when the delivery guys setup the bed. They called in the broken merchandise prior to leaving my residence and advised a customer service representative would be calling us to set up a delivery for the replacement parts.  I did not receive a call, so when my husband came home from work, I asked him to call Value City in Florence to see when we should expect our parts.  We were told the earliest would be Thursday 2/15/2018 and if we were not available then it would be the following Wednesday 2/21/2018!!  So now, not only do we have the wrong items, WE cannot even use our bed and have no where to sleep until after Valentines Day!! We are extremely disappointed with the quality of service and Quality of merchandise. We bought our dining room furniture from Ashley Furniture (no issues & received exactly what we ordered) and are thinking we should have continued to give them our business instead. We still have 2 living room suits to purchase and do not feel comfortable giving anymore business to Value City. We spent a lot of money and unfortunately are not satisfied at all.

Do not buy furniture from Value City because the warranty will not be backed up.  Such a scam.   I’ve spent 30 min of wasted time and sky high blood pressure to deal with the worst customer service ever!  Furniture is just over a year old and we purchased the extended warranty. The frame of the couch (reclining) has slowly bent out of shape over time. This isn’t covered by a warranty. Only accidental rips but the quality of the furniture should last 10 years. If you aren’t willing to back your quality furniture don’t sell a worthless warranty. Customer service of 2 different employees was focused on getting on to the next customer not determining a solution.
