I would like to give this zero stars but seeing as it's not an option they are lucky they even get one. To start off, I purchased a sectional, couch and accent chair plus paid for delivery. We decided to open a value city card because we planned on purchasing more furniture when everything was paid off. Delivery day comes and the sectional came busted up with scratches all over it and the wood frame broken almost busting out of the fabric. After calling the store, they told us that we would have to drop off the broken couch and pick up the new one even though we paid for a new couch plus delivery. We thought it was outrageous to have to bring back their broken couch that was delivered. After talking to a few people they finally agreed to come pick up the broken couch and drop off the new one. We also purchased the furniture protection for all of our items for $220, which we were told by the sales associate that everything except forces of nature were covered. Now that I try getting a new cushion cover that was punctured by my dog they tell me it isn't covered when I was specifically told pet damages were when purchasing. If I would have known that this wasn't covered I would have thought twice about paying extra for a pricey protection program. So I called and spoke to a manager and was told that associate doesn't work there anymore so there's nothing they can do. I was also told that if I wanted to I can order another cushion cover and purchase it myself. After purchasing almost $2,000 in furniture, receiving a broken sectional and being lied to, I think it's safe to say that we will be done making any more purchases in the future and canceling our store card. If a customer is purchasing furniture protection and the sales associate lies about coverage I don't believe the customer should have to foot the bill. Also, being told over and over again that what happened is considered "animal abuse" towards the couch and is not covered, isn't helpful. When an associate makes it out to be my fault for not knowing, that's just horrible customer service. Why would I even take the time calling and filing a claim if I actually KNEW it wasn't covered. The whole situation is just ridiculous. Seems like to me they just like to lie to make a sale and that's not cool. I'm still waiting on that phone call back from the manager about how much it would be for me to purchase a new cushion cover,.....I won't hold my breath.

Had the worst experience. Brought over $3000 worth of furniture. First off I ordered a queen size Mattress and box spring with bed frame. Image my surprise when i got a full size bed frame. Then I ordered 3 sets of Queen Size Bed sets. Now out of all of the 3, 1 of them had a different box spring, it also one of the mattress sunk in. Now for all of DAMN trouble they the Mgr Eric offered me 3 Memory form pillows. I have been to Value City 4 DAMN times and as of now my bed set with the mix matching box spring is in flat on the floor and I have to wait til Thurs for someone to come to look at said mattress to determine whetheror not it's sinking in. REALLY, I WENT TO THE STORE ON SAT AND TALKED TO WILL THE ASST STORE MGR, NO HELP FROM HIM OR ANYONE FROM THIS COMPANY. I WILL EMAIL THE CORP OFFICE AND SEE WHAT THEY CAN DO FOR ME. BUT I GUARANTEE YOU I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN AND WILL TELL ALL OF MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS ALSO

Worked with this store for over 14 years. They rock and Erick always willing to go above and beyond to make it right if I did have any issues. Erick the store Manager cares and so do all the employees. Just be sure to purchase your warranties as you would on all major purchases and you should be fine.

We chose this location to do our browsing despite what the critics said.. I can't speak for their experiences, however, ours couldn't have been better. Our sales consultant was Diana and it's too bad we couldn't put a 6 star rating because we definitely would. She was patient with our indecisiveness and didn't rush us nor push us to make any quick decisions. She gave us all the info we needed as we needed it and was completely honest. We appreciated that very much and for that, we came to our decision and purchased the furniture. A+ service and will soon be posting on the contracted delivery service in two weeks.

If I can give less stars I would. My experience here was awesome until it came to getting my furniture! One couch and two accent chairs. Delivery drivers were an hour late AFTER the 4hr window. I called and they lady I spoke with basically told me they didn't have to inform me they were running late. Hour and a half later they show up and one of my chairs the stuffing was flat. The drivers took pictures to show the manager. I called the manager when they left to inform her they had pictures to show her and she told me "Well I can't tell you anything until they come back with the pictures. I will call you back once I review thwm." Needless to say I didn't get a call back. Called the next morning and talked to the RUDEST WOMAN I have ever spoken with and the manager ignored me again.She finally called and told me she will give me a credit of $80 off of the $1100 purchase since they were do late and I had to call off of work. After a fight about actually getting the $80 and rescheduling getting the new chair it finally came in about a week later. I saw the chair and examined it and it seemed fine. It has been about a month since I got it and i never really sat and looked at it until now. The replacement chair (on the right) is SMALLER than my original chair!!!!!! Loke are you for real!? !? I will NEVER spend another dime at this place and i will let people know to take their money elsewhere. I dont even want to call them and let them know because I dont see them fixing anything about it. A huge waste for me!
