My wedding was wonderful, and now I finally got a chance to review my vendors. I loved working with Vanessa’s to select my wedding gown, my best friend and I both got our gowns here, and we were helped by a different consultant both named Amanda. :)  My Amanda was lovely, she was patient, friendly and helpful, she picked out great dresses based on my body type, even though they weren’t what I originally wanted, one of them was so perfect it became my dream dress! It even came in quicker than expected! Alteration with Barbara went smoothly without a hitch. That’s huge according to all my friends. Be sure to make an appointment by phone, that’s one thing I’ve learned by my wedding gown search from many stores, you can’t just stroll in and expect consultants or seamstresses to be always immediately available. Vanessa’s was great! I recommended them to all my friends in Chicago and now you.

We had a most wonderful experience at Vanessa's. My family and I went to many stores to look for my gown, and we found it at the closest shop to our house!! They don't have racks upon racks of gowns to choose from, but each one I tried on there was so pretty! It's a smaller boutique, so we witnessed a bridal gown second fitting with another bride. Everyone was so relaxed and satisfied, and that to me is very important. Price was good, and customer service was friendly. We are quite happy! Highly recommended!!

I live in Denver but my family lives in Arlington Heights, and I'm also getting married in Chicago next Spring. My family and I went to Vanessa's in downtown Arlington Heights to pick a bridal gown last month, and it was a great no pressure experience. Vanessa’s Bridals staff was so kind and helped me out with everything that I needed. This is a wonderful place that has a different feel than any other bridal stores in the area. I walked out feeling beautiful and ecstatic about the dress I chose. It was perfect for my body, taste and my wedding theme. My mom, my aunt, my sister and my best friend all loved it. I highly recommend them for any vintage or unique dress styles.  Everyone in the salon was so accommodating and welcoming and attentive. I could not be happier. This is the stuff of dreams! 
As an update, my bridal gown fittings at Vanessa's are going smoothly. We have fun. My mom also end up getting her dress here, so we have our fittings scheduled together. I'm glad I came here for my bridal gown, and would recommend them for everyone!

I bought my bridal gown at Vanessa’s last year and could not be happier. My overall experience at Vanessa’s was excellent. Vanessa’s bridal consultant was very knowledgeable and patient in helping me find my dream gown. We visited several bridal stores and eventually decided to make the purchase at Vanessa’s for which we had no regret. I was worried if my gown would arrive in time for my wedding, as there were not many days between purchase day and wedding day. Later it was proved that my worry was unnecessary as the gown arrived rather quickly. There are a couple of areas that I was mostly impressed: collection, Vanessa’s bridal gowns are exquisite and unique; customer service, second to none. I would strongly recommend brides to purchase bridal gowns at Vanessa’s.

My stepsister and I both purchased our dresses from Vanessa's in the same month.  They were very friendly at the start but after they get the sale they are not so nice.  I went in to try on my dress a few months later and was treated like I was an annoyance (and I had an appointment).  The woman who does the alterations literally argued with me about what I wanted to be done to the dress.  The dress was a sample and had to be taken from an 8 to a 4.  She was just awful. Not only that, when my mom went to pick up the dress, it was wrinkled!  She said that it was pressed but I did a better job with my steamer the day of my wedding.  Don't go to Vanessa's unless you want an added stress.
