I love to come here to shop for particular foods or drinks because I know they will have it cheaper here than in Thriftway up the street. All of the staff are supper nice and very knowledgeable about the place so don't be afraid to ask for help. And I am also guilty of coming in to grab a quick meal at the hot deli when I'm in a bit of a rush and it's always hot and ready here.

The employees are friendly and help full.The store carries a wide range of items,but not 47 different makers of coffee,or whatever. Its LOCAL & simple

. I G A. was the first store  my family and I shopped at after landing on Vashon Island in July of 1966.  I prefer I. G. A. as opposed to Thriftway because shopping is faster and easier there and the employees are much nicer people as a rule

The other supermarket on vashon! Avoid the fishbowl trappings of the thriftway and hust get some groceries like a normal person!
