Every appointment with this place, I've had to wait for extended periods of time past the appointment time. For this last appointment, I booked an early slot, thinking "how late could they possibly be at that hour?" I arrived on time. Was put in a room. Waited 20 minutes (listening to the staff telling each other stories...). I walked out. I'm looking for another facility. That's the last time I'm going to waste what little time I have on a Saturday, my one day off to do errands.

Had a vaccine update today with Dr. Landman, and she was very thorough, gentle, informative, and answered all my questions. The vet tech and front desk staff were also helpful and welcoming. Great visit, and this is why this has been our vet clinic for 20 years!

Like some other reviewers, the wait time at VCA is horrible. I have nothing against the vets or the staff. They have all been friendly. But it is obvious that the staff are overworked and the substandard care shows. I transferred my pet to another vet after he nearly died being treated here. Long story short, the treatment they used on him was inappropriate and when I called to get help for his symptoms, they did not call back. Their excuse was that the doctor was busy and that I did not say it was an emergency. Which was it - the doc was busy or my fault for not using the “proper” language? Generally, when you call to say that your pet has been vomiting for two days and is not getting hydrated, one would presume that it is serious. Last I checked, it takes about 3 days without water before you die. I ended up taking him to the hospital where they admitted him as inpatient. The suspected root cause for his issue was the treatment he received at VCA. There was no other smoking gun. I get that people make mistakes, but have the integrity to admit it and make it right, not slither away and hide. This place is a corporation and by definition, it’s priority is to maximize shareholder wealth, not be concerns with your pet’s health. I recognize that some people have had a good experience here so I respect that. However, I think it takes an emergency to realize the true character of people and corporations. And I realized that VCA is not concerned about my pet. They seem more concerned about covering themselves from liability and racking up billable items.

I love it here. I haven't found a veterinarian that works here I don't like. They don't push unnecessary meds or expensive procedures they offer a free first exam, and cats an dogs have their own entrances to ease some of the stress animals go through by the whole vet experience as it is. Awesome. The front desk staff has left me with mixed impressions, I've been taking my pets here for the last 4 years or so and they seem to have noticeably changed front staff several times. My first visit was absolutely stunning customer service and outstanding job performance, the sweet older woman who checked me in brought me coffee while I was waiting, the whole waiting area looked spotless and sterilized and I only had to wait maybe 10 minutes, I barely managed to finish filling out the new patient info form. However the next couple of times I had to bring my dog in a little over a year later that woman was gone and I was checked in by a very young man who unfortunately seemed very overwhelmed and unsure of himself. And the whole front desk looked a little chaotic. They seem to have gotten things back in order though since the last couple of times I've gone in they were not perhaps above and beyond as the first woman I encountered but I have no complaints they were professional and orderly and knowledgeable the waiting area could've used a quick swipe down with a sanitary wipe just to keep the hair and Lord knows whatever else the other pets that'd visited that day might've had but ultimately this place is a gem.

Always compassionate and expert care for our dogs and cats. Whether it's a routine check-up, a flea problem, or a serious surgical procedure, we get the help we need.
