Great service, excellent bikes (Specialized and Cannondale primarily, others too), friendly staff, and the owner visibly supports road and mountain bike activities, events, and races throughout Tuscaloosa county. The repair shop is open to the public and mechanics enjoy conversation and interaction with customers, which translates into personalized service and excellent recommendations for repair/maintenance. I purchased two mountain bikes from VeloCity Pro Cycle and a host of accessories. They are an important contributor to the biking culture of Tuscaloosa. Thumbs up!"

They literally had ONE brand of bikes. The quality was nice, but zero variety. Weird vibe. Not going again.

Hands down, the best bike place in Tuscaloosa. Besides being personable and knowledgeable, they are all about the customer and not the dollar sign, they were bought by new owners a couple years ago. Their bike mechanic Brad is top notch, constantly helping University of Alabama students with bike repairs and even teaching them how to keep their bikes in better, working condition. Many of the customers are repeat visitors because of the service they receive. I'trusted them with my bike packaging and shipping for a race across the country. Also, you know it's a good place when cyclists meet there for groups rides. They host Wednesday night Ladies ride (where nobody gets dropped) and many other rides throughout the week for all different levels. Looking for a bike or a repair in Tuscaloosa, this the go to place!

I stopped in Tuscaloosa on a cross country cycling trip today. The owner and employees seemed irritated that we had brought them business. They were unfriendly and disappointingly bereft of the "southern hospitality" we have seen in the rest of the south. Would never go back again.
