From the time I had seen Jessy very occasionally at a Ventura Pop-Up yoga class, I felt her soft and nurturing energy. I felt drawn to that energy so when she began moving in new directions, I followed where she was going thank you technology for social media and newsletters . I utilize a lot of self care tools, and had just begun to look more deeply at herbalism but my knowledge of it is limited. I love plants, and they make me think of my momma who loved plants and gardening and wildflowers and nature in general. I attended one of Jessy’s workshops and she presented information about herbs in such an accessible way it made me want to continue this journey of learning. Our time together for my initial session of my 30 Day Somatic Herbalism Journey was like beginning to come home to myself with a nurturing guide. The oil that I left with that day was so indescribably me … old me, new me, learning me. I look forward to this process of self journey and self discovery … thank you Jessy!
Jessy has such an incredible intuition about how to connect people with their unique plant allies. I had my first Aroma Point Fusion session with her yesterday and it was such a deeply nourishing and relaxing experience. Jessy's warm and inviting nature puts you at ease; and even though I went in having no idea what to expect from the experience, I felt completely comfortable and supported the entire time. This is definitely something I will do again! Highly recommend for anyone needing some relaxing self care or inner exploration.
I have been working with Jessy in different capacities for several years and being able to participate in her 30-day somatic herbalism offering has been one of my favorite ways to partner with her and access her knowledge. I would describe myself as someone with a fair amount of skepticism with a splash of woo and faith. Jessy's somatic herbalism is the perfect combination of plant science and herbalism, evidence backed somatics, and intuitive knowing. After completing a thorough intake form that spanned questions from my physical health, emotional history, and goals/intentions, Jessy and I met to unpack my answers and dive deeper into what my body and mind are seeking at this time in my life. Her model is to blend plants and practices so in addition to my personalized adaptogenic tea, she helped identify some practices that would support me in my goals and in moving through my journey. I am coming to the end of my first 30 days and can say that I have experienced physical and mental shifts through the support I received from Jessy, and am looking forward to continuing on the path that she and I have developed for myself.
I initially began this program with Jessy to address some chronic digestive health issues I have been struggling with for almost two years. I have tried everything from functional medicine treatment to acupuncture and traditional therapy. While all of these things helped temporarily, I have never been able to find something that allowed me to find sustainable healing. As a result, I turned to this somatic practice in order to explore any underlying emotional or trauma issues that may be causing an imbalance in my body and preventing me from truly healing. I have worked with Jessy numerous times, and every session we have together is extremely supportive and enlightening; this was no exception. Through guided meditation, we uncovered emotional trauma that I thought had been resolved and brought it to the surface so that it could be released. After the session, we also started to incorporate flower essences into my daily routine to further support me on my healing journey. This is an ongoing healing journey for me, but even after one session, I felt physically and emotionally lighter, and was able to tap into my body’s wisdom for self-healing; my physical symptoms also lessened. It is so difficult to explain exactly how this program works, because it is different for everyone. Jessy is incredibly intuitive and has such a gift for tapping into what each individual needs to support them on their own journey. I am one of her biggest fans and highly recommend working with her if you are looking to delve deeper into your own intuitive wisdom to heal yourself.
The Somatic Mentoring sessions I’ve had with Jessy have been amazing. Her subtle approach and gentle energy really helped me to have a profound internal experience. The questions and doubts I had about personal issues, I have been able to answer and have more clarity with since my last session. I highly recommend having this experience.
Jessy and the whole venture well community is just magic. There is such a sene of family and love whenever I practice with anyone of the instructors. I always feel welcome, safe and supported not just by staff but also the community that show up and practice wellness together. Jessy has also been my “life coach” as I like to call her for over two years. My private sessions with her have changed my life and soul. words can’t express the gratitude I have for her and her teachings. I’ve learned, grown and my light shines brighter than ever with the tools she provides and the grounding in our guided meditations. She’s just a magical human! Venture Well is a beautiful community of family and friendship along with creativity and movement. I’ve never felt stronger both mentally and physically in my life. I’m so grateful!
I attended my first Ventura Pop Up Yoga class about 7 years ago in their early days, and while I originally came seeking the physical benefits of yoga, I have stuck around till now because of the amazing sense of community that Jessy and her team have cultivated. Thanks to them, I've had the chance to deepen my yoga practice in some of Ventura's most beautiful parks, but its their emphasis on connection and their adaptability that have truly made the most impact on me. Throughout the Thomas Fire, the pandemic, and everything else life has thrown at us, Jessy and her team find ways to evolve and continue to serve their community. It only makes sense that they have now evolved into Venture Well because they've always brought so much more to the table than just yoga! Which is saying a lot, because their yoga classes are so so good. Its exciting to have the chance to keep learning and growing through their new offerings, from live music events to herbalism to yoga and surf retreats. I love being part of the Venture Well community and look forward for what is to come!

Just completed a class with Cameron at the Zachari Dunes on Mandalay Beach. Was amazing! Really needed to get my mind/body right, and it was achieved!
