I read all of the reviews for the dentist & office staff & was really apprehensive about going to the dentist, as I hadn't been in quite a while. I was excited, however, after I read everything online. I got to the office & was sorely disappointed. My technician was extremely rude. Dr. Kathy actually insulted me at one point, making a comment that I was "too young to do my job & she wouldn't want me to do her mortgage", as I was a loan officer. I was prescribed amoxicillin, which I am deathly allergic to. I voiced that not only on my intake paper work but to Dr. Kathy as well. She told me that my wisdom teeth were infected which is why she prescribed me an antibiotic. I scheduled an appointment with an oral surgeon the next day & he told me that they were in fact not infected & not to bother taking an antibiotic. I will never go back to this dentist. I felt completely embarrassed & mortified. If that wasn't enough, the utter disregard of my allergies was plenty reason for me to change dentists. The only positive thing I have to say about my experience was the speed of which my x-rays were transferred to a different dentist office.

I have had several dental cleanings and, as of recently, a wisdom tooth extracted from this location, and i truly cannot foresee myself attending any other practice. I have received nothing but the most gentle of dental care, to the point I truly cannot recall any point at which I have felt pain! The staff is filled with knowledgeable, friendly, and caring workers who always make me feel right at home. I was even laughing during my (incredibly quick and painless) wisdom tooth extraction because of how energetic they were! I highly recommend this practice for any and all potential customers, especially those who have a fear of the dentist!

I had an excellent experience at Vernon Woods Dental Care Associates, as usual. Warm & friendly receptionist, the staff were all  knowledgeable of the procedures I underwent, they were very clear with their instructions and descriptive of each step of the procedure, making sure I was comfortable. I especially loved the fact that they took the time to make my case personal and cater to my specific needs.

Going to the dentist can be stressful, so I was delighted to find these capable professionals who try to make you as comfortable and stress-free as possible. You won't ever leave their office feeling rushed or that you didn't receive their full attention.
