I was referred by AAA to Vern's Auto Repair, im from out of town travelling with my family. 
I called in to get a quote for a brake job, the technician advised Vern's Auto Repair doesn't accept customer supplied parts because of warranty, but, there's a post by a local  customer a week ago that had a timing belt installed by Vern's Auto Repair that she supplied.

 I care about the quality of parts installed on my vehicle's​, that's​ why I prefer to supply my own parts not to mention the top dollar charge per hour for repairs.

I was disappointed to say the least, my hometown AAA repair shops (In TX) have diagnosed my vehicles free at no cost (Wasn't looking for free service either).

This place is great. I needed a timing chain done on my 2008 Pontiac G5 and I was able to bring my own parts and the total for the repair came in under what they originally quoted me.

Have used Verns multiple times. They reliably offer competitive prices and reasonable timelines for repair. They give you honest feedback on options for repairs along with their recommendations. They did free diagnostic work and found an easy at home solution to my problem. I have always appreciated their honesty.

Excellent service and as a "woman", I don' t get the feeling of being "ripped off". Vern's epitomizes the service of the " neighborhood" auto shop of the past. I have an older vehicle not made any more, but I've maintained it and Vern's helps me do that. Vern's is honest and reasonable.
