Worse Vet I’ve ever visited in my life! Charge $$$ soo much for little work. Held my dog hostage because I paid $2,000 and was short $45.00 which I had to pay $100+ for them holding her an additional night. No privacy diagnostic is done in lobby where everyone here’s your issue. Avoid this vet at all cost

It is my opinion that anyone should AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Our dog was pregnant and in labor for many hours so during the night we brought her to this hospital. When we got there, the vet examined her and said she would not give birth soon and sent us home. There was no one in the waiting room, as it was late at night, but they did not want us to stay there and wait. I will regret listening to that woman and driving home for the rest of my life. Our dog gave birth in the car on the way back home and the pup was not breathing. Despite vigorous rubbing, by the time we got back to the hospital it was too late, the puppy would not breath. There was absolutely no reason for the vets at this hospital to send us home and I know we lost our puppy because of it. I specifically tell anyone I know with a pet to never go to this hospital, as they are cruel and negligent.

Just before Xmas, I had to rush my beloved golden retriever here in dire circumstances. Dr. Solimon was incredibly kind and helped us understand this sad situation. Later the next day, my sweet girl was treated by Dr. Reynolds who helped both my pup, me and my family through a very difficult time. Although our dear girl left us, Drs. Solimon and Reynolds and all the staff members we dealt with were very kind to us. You don't want to have to come here, but if you need to, their caring for both animals and people is superb.

Star dog ashes are home. I plan on spreading her ashes out in the backyard. She loved to sleep in the sun The staff at VCA Westbury. Where absolutely amazing, caring, and extremely patient with me during this rough time.

All they want is $$$$ AVOID. They were quick to diagnose my dog with AFIB without any exams, also quick to ask for hospitalize him for two days just for monitoring. Luckily he's doing much better at home without any medication that they wanted to IV. KEEP OUT !!!!!!!!!!!
