The Staff At Veterinary Surgical Specialist Are Wonderful Caring People. Dr. Sebestyen Did China's Surgery And Even Though He Had To Deliver Some Bad News About Her Prognosis He Did It With Such Compassion And I Really Appreciate Him And Everything He Has Done For China And Our Family. I'm Happy To Report That China Seem To Be Recovery Well From Her Surgery She Is Happy Again And Playing Which We Haven't Seen In Months, Will Take It One Day At A Time. I Appreciate The Staff And All They Do And I'm Happy We Were Referred To Them. Excellent Work!!!

I noticed my dog Hope had a distended abdomen so I took her to my primary Vet who took x-rays and did an ultra sound to discover blood in her abdomen. He called Dr Cambridge who agreed to see Hope straight away. Upon arrival I was quickly sorted out by staff and Dr Cambridge advised me that Hope needed immediate exploratory surgery to find the source of the bleeding and see what could be done. He patiently explained all the possibilities and risks and wanted our input. He kept us abreast of the progress and advised us that he had to take half of her liver to save her. They kept Hope for 2 nights and kept me apprised of her progress and even sent photo's of her in recovery. Unfortunately the biopsy came back with Hemangiosarcoma which is a deadly cancer. Dr Cambridge called me immediately with the biopsy results and answered my questions as he did a week and a half later when she had the sutures removed. We are grateful to Dr Cambridge for giving us the time to properly say goodbye to our faithful companion. The whole operation from front desk personnel to the Doctors are first class.

Rescued a dog after being hit by car. Took her here and what I was told would be a $6,000 surgery only cost about half that. These people have a big heart and my new found pup is as happy as can be!!!

My Abby was diagnosed with Carcinoma Pulmonary. The staff at VSS made us feel welcome and put our minds at ease when they explained how they were going to help us. During my visit Dr. Tony Cambridge said that my precious Abby was healthy other than her tumor and that he didn't see any problems with having the surgery. On Surgery day we met Gaby who was extremely helpful the entire day. I received updates and a photo of my Abby reassuring me that everything was okay. Abby is home now, she came home happy which means she likes the staff and that is always a good sign that they love their jobs. I highly recommend Veterinary Surgical Specialists for all of your pets needs.
