Stevie and I are so thankful for all the prayers, visits, food, phone calls, and love shown to us during this life changing illness my precious husband has endured in the last month! Word cannot express our gratefulness to all our christian family, friends, and loved ones for all you have done! We would also like to send out a big THANKYOU to all the staff in the ER and the 3rd floor at Vidant Beaufort Hospital, in Washington, NC! From the Doctors, Nurses, Aides, Housekeeping, Dietary, xray,labs, and respiratory we could not have asked for any better care than we received there! You guys are the best!

My sister in law checked into the hospital on yesterday in the ER. If you are African American, with certain type of medical coverage realize you will receive the underground treatment. She sat in the ER with multiples complaints unaddressed for hours. They were not clear on what was going on. Took 30 hours to finally get a room. It's almost like they trying to intentionally put out race through stuff. Then the caucsians are treated with white glove treatment. Drive to Greenville if you can make it. Washing ER sucks and there's no other way to put it. I'd love for someone to reach out to me. Service just now improved once we hit the ICU and explained our complaints. But Washington is definitely not the way.

Great care for 4 days in the ICU and close attention and good care once I stepped down to a regular room. All the staff were great, and my care was caring, attentive thoughtful people. The ICU staff were like angels!
