I honestly wish I could give it 0 stars. I came in at 4:05 pm in the beginning stage of DKA (Diabetic ketoacidosis). It’s 10:06 pm and I’ve yet to see a doctor. Last time I was in DKA I almost died.

Horrible hospital. It has really gone down hill. I'm in a room right now. The very basics for patients care are not provided. I arrived by ambulance at 7:24 am, marked urgent. Did not see a dr until almost 11 am, laying in severe pain up until then because nothing could be done until I saw the dr. No water, nothing. I suffer with chronic pain and Fibromyalgia. They do not have the basics for pain control available. No heat packs, I was able to get (1) in 3 1/2 hours in the er. They do not have them once you are admitted. Almost 24 hours later finally found out they did have ice packs. I screamed and cried the whole time my ultrasound was done, yet the tech noted "patient was not in pain". I don't blame the nurses, it seems that corners are being cut everywhere they can be. If I'm ever in this position again, I will have the ambulance head away from Nash county. This is a shame because I have stood up for Nash general when friends and neighbors said to go to Raleigh or Wake Forest.

First, thanks to Dr. Husain and the cardio cath team for saving my life. Secondly, the cardio rehab team did an amazing job over the 36 sessions I attended. The ladies there are caring, kind and very professional.

I carried my 91 year old father to the ER for an emergency situation that we waited five hours after the vitals were checked. What part of emergency don't you understand and how long before y'all read these reviews, or do you read them at all, before you make any changes for the better? Your Emergency room needs it's name to be the " waiting room" for sure!!! You are quick to get the insurance info and signatures to lock you in then your priorities go out the window!

This hospital's emergency room overcharges and cannot bill correctly.  I have received numerous bills in varying amounts for the same service.  They submitted the same claim twice to my insurance, and have demanded payments in excess of my maximum responsibility.  In addition, they charged more than $3,000 for a 15 minute visit to diagnose a hand infection.  Stay away!
