This place is a bit of a gem.  My review is a bit biased, as I have gone to many area thrift stores specifically looking for a deal.  What I really liked about this place was both the price and the quality of much of the stuff.  Specially, the prices are low and are marked 1/2 off depending on the marked color of the item, which rotates throughout the week.  I was able to get several excellent cookbooks there for $1-$2 that were listed online at around $30.  I also was able to get several very nice dish sets--hand painted in Bavaria or in Japan--for $3-$4 for 10+ piece sets.  I believe this is because it is near a military base.  Further, good selection of baby/toddler toys for less than $10.  Simply take them home, clean them up, change the batteries, good to go!

Every time I go to this store, i walk out empty handed. Everything in there looks like thrift store rejects. All the items are overly worn and overly priced. The Value Village thrift a mile or two up Allentown Rd across from AAFB is the best in the area. Their items are slightly used, sometimes brand new with original tags!

I love shopping at 2nd Ave Thrift Store. I've always had a positive experience when I went. I totally recommend this thrift store

My favorite store; I always google items I’m not sure of the market value price but I usually find things priced reasonably.  Also unique finds are usually underpriced with original retail price still intact.  I try to go only on sales days.  Impressive inventory of clothes, handbags and collectibles.
